Rachael Benjamin, LCSW
Rachael Benjamin, LCSW, has been practicing psychotherapy for over twenty years, first in community mental health, and for the last fourteen years in a private group practice in Lower Manhattan. Rachael's approach is relational, holistic, and responsive to the individual—a form of therapy that pays close attention to patterns shaped through relationships, with ourselves and others, past and present. The work is unhurried, and the goal is to help you make sense of your experience and imagine new possibilities.

The Opportunity
After fourteen years building a respected clinical reputation inside one of New York's most recognized group practices, Rachael was ready to step out on her own. The challenge wasn't credibility; she had twenty years of it. The opportunity was giving a practice that deep a brand presence that matched: one that could establish authority without sacrificing warmth, and connect with discerning patients in a way that felt genuine rather than formulaic. The Strategy
The hook was imagination. Rachael's practice is built on the belief that suffering narrows what feels possible, and that therapy works by restoring that capacity. That idea guided every creative decision that followed. The identity centers on a custom monogram icon, an expressive, layered mark that resists a single reading, nodding to the reflective and evolving nature of the therapeutic process. Rather than fixed imagery, we licensed abstract artwork that allows the viewer to bring their own meaning, mirroring the individual and imaginative nature of the work itself. Stock photography was curated with the same intention and treated with a consistent motion blur throughout, a deliberate choice that keeps the focus on feeling rather than fact, and resists the clinical literalism common in the category.
The copy was developed in close collaboration with Rachael and written to reflect how she actually works: unhurried, specific, and genuinely engaged with the person in front of her.
The Results
With brand design in place, the same strategy informed every structural decision that followed. Rachael's website was built as three focused pages: Home, About and Contact, with a user journey designed around how people actually move through a personal decision like therapy. The homepage introduces Rachael, her philosophy, her approach, and who she works best with before asking anyone to reach out. For the patient ready to go deeper, the About page is there, offering more without burdening those who aren't.The architecture is clean, the copy is concise, and the SEO and GEO strategy is built for both the New York and New Jersey markets she serves. A blog is planned to support continued site authority and healthy search visibility over time.
